DIY: Honey And Oatmeal Masks

Acne can be anyone’s worst nightmare. The painful boils, the stubborn scars, and no chemical product seems to work. Natural home remedies and a clean diet have been known to be more forgiving for our skin. The more common solutions for acne are ones we can find in our fridge or local supermarket:

Ingredients

  • 2 TB ground oats
  • ½ TB fresh lemon juice
  • 2 TB raw honey
  • 4 drops tea tree essential oil
 Instructions
  1. Grind oats into a fine paste.
  2. In a small bowl mix together ground oats, lemon juice, honey, and tea tree oil.
  3. Apply to face to create a mask. Leave on the skin for 10-15 minutes. Remove the mask with cold water and a washcloth.
