Out of all the wastes in your house, fabric is probably the most ignored one. It might be craft craps, leftover fabrics, or even clothes that we no longer wear. However, recycling fabrics doesn’t have to be a chore – this event will let you know how.
Presented by Craft School Oz and Little Lane Workshops, the Slow Stitching Workshop will allow you to explore the process where we reuse fabrics, threads and clothes. Texture, stitch and colours will be examined to create new textile pieces with that old look you know and love.
Materials will be supplied in this three-hour workshop, but you can bring your own stash, too. Tickets are $155. For more information, visit Little Lane Workshops’ website.
